Precision Sensing was spun out of the University of Washington – Seattle, when our founder, Larry Pierce, saw an opportunity to revolutionize personalized medicine through Radiotheranostics innovation.
Driven by a passion for improving medical imaging, patient outcomes, and access to care, Precision Sensing reimagines the way dosimetry could be delivered – remotely, accurately, and seamlessly.
With the support of UW’s CoMotion program, Precision Sensing developed its first product, the PRRT Vest – a groundbreaking wearable that brings real-time, remote dosimetry into patients’ homes.
Our in-patient trials are underway, and we are preparing for FDA submission, bringing us one step closer to transforming cancer care with precision dosimetry, superior imaging, and personalized treatment optimization.
CEO & Founder. Dr. Pierce has a PhD in mathematics (mathematical physics) from Oregon State University. With over 15 years of nuclear medical imaging experience, Dr. Pierce is a primary inventor of this technology. Identifying the path to commercialization as the best opportunity to improve medical outcomes with this breakthrough technology, Dr. Pierce elected to drive this product into the marketplace. Committed and enthusiastic about commercial success, Dr. Pierce is CEO and acting head of Research & Development.

With a rare Professional Engineer (PE) registration in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Don delivers an elegant combination of strategic skills and hands on practical execution uniquely qualified to move Precision Sensing through to success.
